Thank you for visiting our tuWolf site. tuWolf RF Designs Inc. manufactures very
rugged high quality, synthesized, low current (<100 mA) radio repeaters for emergency
battery operated portable applications or remote sites where the power source is battery
or solar applications. The radio bands are: UHF (403-430, 450-470MHz) and VHF
(138-174MHz). The output power is 5W VHF and 4W UHF. The repeater can be programmed
for CTCSS or DCS. The tuWolf repeater can be used in linking radio systems

"MX800 APCO P25 REPEATER"
Spectra Engineering is pleased to announce the release of the Digital APCO
P25 Repeater variant of the MX800 at the 2008 International Wireless
Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas.
APCO Project 25 (P25) is the industry wide effort to set the standards of uniform
digital Two-Way Radio for public safety organizations and has also been selected in other
private system application, worldwide.
A major advantage for using P25 is to reduce spectrum bandwidth usage and the ability to
recover excellent audio quality from noisier signals, where compared to analogue signals,
the noise is always accumulative and degrades the audio quality.
